We’re thrilled to announce a major enhancement to the Viator Travel Agent Program’s “Share with Client Links.” We understand that your clients often need more time to finalize their travel plans, and we want to ensure you get credited for every booking you inspire.

Starting November 3, 2025, your commission attribution window is officially extended from 30 days to 90 days. That’s triple the time to earn commission on client bookings.

NEW “90-Day Attribution Window”

This is a significant upgrade to how your “Share with Client Links” work.

  • The Change: Any new click on your unique “Share with Client Links” will now earn you commission if your client books any experience on Viator within 90 days of that click.
  • The Benefit: You now have a full three months (90 days) to secure commission, giving your clients ample time to browse and book the perfect activities.
  • Effective Date: This change applies to all new clicks on your links starting November 3, 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions: Share with Client Link

How do “Share with Client Links” work?

Think of your “Share with Client Links” as your personal digital referral tool:

  1. Create Your Link: Generate your unique link on the official travel agent portal: travelagents.viator.com.
  2. Share with Clients: Send the link to your clients via email, text, social media, or any other communication platform you use for recommendations.
  3. Client Clicks & Books: When your client clicks the link, a 90-day tracking period begins. If they book any experience on the Viator site within that 90-day window, the sale is automatically attributed to you, and you earn your commission.
  4. A Fresh Start: If the client clicks the link again after the initial 90-day window has passed (or even before), a NEW, fresh 90-day window will immediately begin. You are always rewarded for encouraging your clients to return to Viator through your link.

Do my “Share with Client Links” ever expire?

Absolutely not. Your unique links are permanent and never expire.

  • You can share them with clients as many times as you like.
  • If a client clicks a link you sent months or even years ago, a commission can STILL be earned, as the new 90-day attribution window starts from the moment of that most recent click.

Do I need to re-share my link with clients every 90 days?

No, you don’t need to. Since your links never expire, any link you’ve already sent remains valid.

However, we recommend periodically reminding your clients to use your existing link (or a new link from your dashboard) when they are ready to explore and book. This ensures they always start a fresh 90-day window and that you capture the commission for their booking.

When will I be paid commission on “Share with Client Link” bookings?

Your commission payment schedule remains consistent with other bookings:

  • You will be paid the commission in the month following the date the client completes the actual travel experience they booked.
  • This is the same payout timeline as direct bookings you make on your client’s behalf through the travelagents.viator.com platform.
