We’re excited to announce that we are launching a new and improved experience for our travel agents. With that comes an update to your agent IDs. Nothing will affect the way you currently use the booking platform (travelagents.viator.com), but if you are an admin of a host agency, it may affect how you manage new and existing member agents.

So what changed?

User IDs

By now you have received a new User ID and Partner ID. If you joined an agency, the Partner ID (which beings with the letter P) is the ID of your Agency, and the User ID (which beings with the letter U) is your personal ID. If you did not join an Agency, the User ID and Partner ID represent your agency. The Partner ID either identifies your business if we pay you directly or it is the ID of your host agency.

We replaced your current Travel Agent ID with a User ID. The IDs are not the same, but both will continue to work when signing up, calling our customer service lines, or using your bookable link. Both IDs are associated with you and your account to ensure you get all commission payouts.

Bookable Links

The ID that is appended automatically to the end of your bookable links will change to reflect your new User ID. Any links previously shared that include the old ID will still work and will still yield commission. We recommend updating any old links on your website, business cards, email signature, etc., but regardless the links will continue to work.

You will no longer see your Travel Agent ID

Your travel agent ID will continue to work and still remain valid. However, in your account, you will no longer see your previous Travel Agent ID. What you will see instead are your new User ID and Partner ID.

Where can I find my User ID or Partner ID

Both are listed on the dashboard of your new Manage Account section which you can visit via Travelagents.viator.com,
