Adding Your Widget to a WordPress Post or Page

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress account. Once you’re logged in you will see your dashboard. Create a page or post about the tour category and destination you want to feature.

Step 2: In the navigation menu on the left side of the WordPress admin, click the page or post on which you want to add the widget (in the image below, we clicked Posts.) Then, click the post (or page) you want to edit.

Step 3: Click on the 3 vertical dots above the editor to view more options. Choose the Edit as HTML option. You will then see the text in HTML format – this is where you’ll add the code from the widget builder.

Step 4: You will then see the text in HTML format. This is where you’ll add the code from the widget builder.

Step 5: Copy the code from the widget builder and then paste onto your site. In this example, we’re using Rome as the destination, and VIP & Exclusive tours as the category.

The finished product

Now you’ll be able to earn commission when people visit your site and book Viator products from your widget! Below is how it will look on your site, and what the customer will see when they click on a product (circled in red).
