We sat down with Lindbergh, one of our top suppliers offering tours in Amsterdam and throughout the Netherlands to talk about their passion for tourism and some of their favorite products.
Q: Why are you in this business?
A: Working in tourism isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle. Technology has played a huge role in the growth of the travel and tourism industry, and while you don’t have to be a tech genius, you should be flexible and open to learning new skills and systems that will help you.
Q: What has it been like working with Viator?
A: We have been working with Viator since the beginning and it has been a great success ever since. We’ve been connected via the API for 2 years now and it’s been a big step for growth. Viator has become a big company over the years but has not lost its identity. We value our cooperation very much, and key to that is the people working at Viator.
Q: What do you love about giving people these experiences?
A: Money comes and goes, but the magic of getting to experience places, cultures, and environments for the first time – that is priceless!
Q: What’s your favorite tour in Amsterdam?
A: This skip-the-line tour includes a live-guided tour at the world-famous Rijksmuseum and van Gogh Museum. It’s one of our most popular tours on Viator, it’s a small-group (max 20 people), and ranked 5 stars!
Q: What’s your favorite attraction?
A: The XtraCold Icebar, especially in combination with a canal cruise, which is a great super saver!
Q: What are your recommended “must-dos” when someone is visiting Amsterdam for the first time?
A: First time visitors should definitely do a 1-hour canal cruise. It’s a perfect way to see the city, and there are lots of canal cruise combinations you can do, like adding on the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum.
Q: What do you want travel agents to know about your products?
A: We offer products outside of Amsterdam, like excursions to different cities in the Netherlands and Belgium. We also offer a wide-variety of small-group tours, plenty of Amsterdam canal cruises, and attraction tickets. There’s so much to explore outside of Amsterdam, like Rotterdam and the Hague. A lot of these tours are a full day so your clients can get a full experience of the region!

Semi-Open Canal Boat: Water Colors Cruise of the Amsterdam Light FestivalThe partially open boat will allow you to make beautiful photos of the light sculptures during the light festival. You will also be provided with blankets that will keep you warm during the voyage. In case of rain, the boats will be covered.
This departure location is located in front of Central Station and is our most festive location. The boats are heated so that you won’t get cold.
